The

petals

How close to my wedding should I place my order?

The petals will keep for 6-12 months if stored correctly in a cool, dark place. However, we have a delayed order system which allows you to place your order straight away and we will post it to you approximately 2 weeks before your wedding.

How long do the petals last?

The petals will keep for 6-12 months if stored correctly in a cool, dark place.

Are the petals biodegradable?

All our confetti are 100% biodegradable which is often the only type allowed by venues.

Can the petals stain?

We test every single petal type that comes through the mixing desk for colour running. Whilst we cannot 100% guarantee that colour will not run as these are natural coloured petals, we have never had a single case of this occurring.

What colours are available in the standard packaged products?

We have a range of mixer colours available in our basic Ivory Petals plus a colour. Here’s a swatch of the colours available.

facts

How long will my order take to arrive?

Our standard processing is 10 business days. However, during the peak wedding months it can extend to 15 business days. All our standard orders are sent by Royal Mail 2nd Class delivery which estimates 2-3 business days from the date of postage. If you require your order sooner than the 10-15 working days plus postage you can also choose to upgrade to Priority 1st Class delivery. This will be processed within 10 working days and sent 1st class next day post with Royal Mail. If it’s required sooner then please contact us after placing your order and it can be sent as soon as the next working day.

For delayed deliveries we aim to post your order no later than 2 weeks before your wedding so they should be with you 2-3 days following. However, in peak wedding months it can be a little later but please try not to worry your order is being processed. If you haven’t received your order 7 days before your wedding then please contact us and we will deal with your order as a priority. If you would like a little extra time to ease any worries then you can choose a date a week or so before your wedding.

How much confetti do I need?

This is a guide to how many litres of real petal confetti you will need for your big day. Some mixes may alter slightly from this depending on the size of the petals. Typically a handful of confetti is between 50ml – 100ml.

The figures are an estimate depending on how you display the confetti.

I already have my own packaging, how much confetti do I need?

It really depends on what packaging you have. If you base it on a handful of confetti being between 50ml – 100ml depending on how large your hands are!

What is flutterfall®?

Flutterfall® refers to our favourite Ivory Petals. Whilst they may not be as bright and colourful as some of the other petals, they are much lighter and flutter in the air often allowing for a much better ‘Confetti Shot’. They are also slightly larger than the smaller rose and delphinium petals which creates great layers of petal within the shot when combined with smaller coloured petals.

What does a litre of petals look like?

Petals are measured using plastic jugs as you would find in your kitchen. Single litre jugs are scooped in the petals to fill them. Two litre jugs are filled by hand to ensure there are no gaps in the petals towards the bottom of the jug.

We then part seal the bags and take out as much air as possible. This prevents them popping in the post as often the mail service doesn’t handle our petals as delicately as we do! It also helps the petals keep for longer if you’re not using them for a while.

Customising of stickers

Providing customised stickers is something not many other suppliers do due to the workload. We don’t just type your name in and hit print, sometimes some names or words just don’t fit right with the fonts shown on the product images for one reason or another, particularly when requesting large amounts of writing or a long hashtag on a 37mm round sticker. This is one of the reasons we reserve the right to customise the fonts and layout of your stickers at our discretion. Just trust us we spend a lot of time, sometimes needlessly, making sure your stickers look the best they can for your requests.

The best thing you can do to help is consider the amount of writing relevant to the size of the sticker and be as specific as you can in the personalisation if you like a particular style. We are happy to refund orders where you aren’t satisfied with your sticker artwork but we will deduct the cost of the personalised stickers at our standard sticker product rate from any refund.
